Powerplay World Cup Contest Winner Takes Home Maruti Suzuki Brezza
K. Subrahmanian won the bumper prize in the Powerplay World Cup Prediction Contest organized by Malayala Manorama and Kosamattam Finance. The grand prize, a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, was handed over to Mr. Subrahmanian and his granddaughter, Ameya, by Kosamattam Finance Ltd. Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Mathew K. Cherian, in the presence of Malayala Manorama Executive Editor, Mr. Jayath Mamman Mathew. The contest, held during the T20 Cricket World Cup, lasted for 25 days. Approximately 165 daily winners received gift hampers worth Rs. 3,000 each. Around 2 lakh people participated in the contest.
The bumper prize winner, Mr. Subrahmanian, is a retired central excise employee residing in Echur, Kannur.
